Cuban Plaza

The picnic table, vines, and balcony railing are credit another artist.

In this scene I wanted to explore creating my diffuse and normal maps from baked zbrush sculpts. The process takes slightly longer than the ones I make note of in the Israeli Countryside images, however there is no reliance on existing texture resources other than some photo reference. Large forms and hard surfaces were quickly modeled in Maya and then brought into ZBrush to sculpt finer surface details.

I also explored using a satallite image from google maps of this real world location plus a combination of human scale from photographs and perspective lines to quickly rough out the spacial relationships and measurements of the buildings in this scene.
